Overwatch

Now at the heart of the action, Brigitte Lindholm has taken up arms and intends to protect the weak.

The youngest daughter of a weapons manufacturer, Torbjörn Lindholm, Brigitte was the first of her children to take an interest in mechanical engineering. She spent most of her free time in her father's workshop learning the ropes and perfecting her technique. Torbjörn was world famous (and perhaps hated) for the weapons he developed. Brigitte had inherited his talent, but was most passionate about making armor and defense systems.

Everyone expected Brigitte to continue her apprenticeship and follow in her father's footsteps. But the influence of Reinhardt Wilhelm, another important figure in her entourage, changed her future plans. This Overwatch agent was a good friend of the family and Brigitte's godfather. Throughout her childhood, he told her stories of heroes and knights. After his retirement and the fall of Overwatch, Reinhardt said he planned to go out in search of justice, like a knight errant. Before he left, Brigitte asked him to join him as a squire. Reinhardt, although surprised, accepted.

Now a squire, Brigitte had many responsibilities, the most important of which was to maintain Reinhardt's crusader armor (a model she knew well since its current version was designed by her father). Gradually, she realized that she spent most of her time caring for Reinhardt, trying to protect him from her overflowing enthusiasm, even when his body was sore from years of fighting.

Eventually, she realized that her role as an engineer was not enough. If she really wanted to help Reinhardt, she had to become an accomplished warrior. While the knight taught her the art of combat, Brigitte began to make her own armor in secret.

Brigitte now fights by Reinhardt's side to protect him and help all souls in distress. Like a knight and his squire, they fight for a better future, one battle after another.
