Fatale is the perfect assassin: a patient, effective and ruthless killer who never lets any emotion or remorse show through.

It is said that in her former life, Fatale was the wife of Gérard Lacroix, an Overwatch agent responsible for operations against the terrorist organization called La Griffe. After several unsuccessful attempts to eliminate Gérard, La Griffe decided to go after his wife to reach him. Amélie was kidnapped by her agents and subjected to an intense neural reformatting program. Her will was swept away, her personality erased and she was reconditioned to be a sleeper agent. She was then found by Overwatch agents, apparently without sequelae, and sent back to civilian life.

Two weeks later, she killed Gerard in his sleep.

After her mission was completed, Amélie returned to the Claw and they completed turning it into a living weapon. She received intensive training and physiological changes. His heartbeat was greatly slowed, which gave his skin a bluish tint and inhibited his ability to feel human emotions. Amelia no longer existed.
